As someone who was so much better at Maths than English at school, it has been quite a surprise to me how much enjoyment I now get from writing! My books are written from my own practical experience and people say that they can hear my voice as they read – and I think they see that as a good thing?!
The books which are published by Routledge are available on-line through Routledge or Amazon. The A-Z books are self-published and you will need to contact me directly to get either a hard copy or a pdf copy.
Coaching Supervision : A practical Guide for Supervisees
Written by myself, David Clutterbuck and Carol Whitaker, we shared an ambition for coaches to truly engage with their supervision. This practical book looks at supervision through the eyes of the supervisee rather than the supervisor. We hope it gives coaches what they need to be a genuine partner in the supervision relationship.
Peer Supervision in Coaching & Mentoring
Written by myself, Carol Whitaker and Tammy Turner, we wanted to help practitioners who did not have access to a professional supervisor to get the most from their reflective practice. This practical book looks at how peers without supervision training can collaborate safely and robustly. Our view is that this will not replace the need for professional supervision rather it will illustrate how the together the whole becomes greater than the sum of its parts.
A must read for coaches – and coaching supervisors!
This book offers an insight into supervision for all and every practising coach (and coaching supervisor). It offers practical information, blended with useful theory and actual case studies – in fact stuff I have already used with my supervisees within days of acquiring the book. The authors have produced an accessible and interesting guide to help practitioners truly understand the value of supervision – and to learn how to get the best out of supervision for themselves and ultimately their coaches. A great addition to the coaching supervision literature.
